Tamsin & I had a busy weekend at the fayre after a long drive.But it was worth it.Around 70 artisan cheese producers were present.The customers were all cheese enthusiasts & it was very refreshing to engage with them all.Saturday night included an evening meal provided by the organisers. The meal was obviously a pie!!

This Monday, the 27th of March we will be meeting the customers again with Harvey & Brockless at Exeter. Our last ‘meet the customers’ event we did last month with WestCounrty Fruit Sales Ltd at The Royal Cornwall showground, Wadebridge was a huge success. Here is a picture from that event with one of our newest team members.

January is the month for resolutions and diets, and I am sure a lot of you are on the high fat and protein/low carb diet! If so conjure up some tasty dishes using our lovely cheeses so it’s not so daunting without those beloved chips. Just to remind you that cheese is naturally a high fat &protein /low carb product.

It all started with Blue Horizon, our first cheese. Helford Blue has always been a very similar cheese and recently we began to make the individual cheeses to the same recipe.
The last batches of Blue Horizon left the dairy shelves recently but for Blue Horizon purists – we are sure you will not detect any difference.
Both the large cutting Helford Blue and Helford White look stunning as part of a cheese stack. This one was put together by Newlyn Cheese & Charcuterie and uses Helford Blue.
We are delighted to announce that Helford Blue has just won a Gold Award at the British Cheese Awards 2016.
All our cheeses sold well in the run up to Christmas with a lot of cheese selling online through various outlets. Helford Camembert was very popular. We had a lot of good feedback on Heford Sunrise and the family thought it was the star of the show. (however everyone ended up on Helford Blue and port).
